Mian Style Basic Fighting Movements

Mian (Cotton) style features no fixed patterns like other styles of kung fu, but instead focuses on fighting drills like these. In this sequence, you can see how the pace and complexity of the movements increases, moving from single hand to double hand. Master Chen also uses direct linear stepping as well as triangular side stepping. Filmed in Beijing, May 2005.
